When Brian Marr was named Assistant Director of Alternative Classes in 2012, he transferred from Klein Oak High School's administrative staff. At that time, he brought five years of teaching experience outside of Klein ISD and 16 years of experience in Klein ISD as a teacher, athletic trainer and administrator (plus a lot of technology savvy)! On Mr. Kaufman's retirement in June 2016, and after serving as Mr. Kaufman's assistant for four school years, Mr. Marr was named Director of Alternative Classes.
Brian Marr received a Bachelor of Science in Education from California University of Pennsylvania and a Masters of Education from Prairie View A&M University. He insists upon continuing to be a fan and supporter of the Pittsburgh Steelers as well as Penn State (not a native Texan)!
